The Lawn offers complete privacy and is fully equipped to host any corporate function, from a small Board Meeting through to a major conference, training day or corporate event (including secret prototypes or public product launches) with 150+ people. The Lawn has ample capacity to host break–out meetings and catering alongside the main conference. 

You could choose to present in our beautiful, new, air-conditioned Orangery with its integral, 3m+, dropdown screen & audio system, before enjoying refreshments and lunch in the splendour of the main House or, perhaps, use the range of our spacious and comfortable Reception Rooms for ‘break-out’ sessions.  We work in total harmony with your requirements, offering the full range of refreshments, from a simple finger buffet through to a full three course lunch or dinner.

Why not enjoy an interval on our 100ft sheltered terrace, opening onto our beautiful gardens or, for team-building days, take full advantage of The Lawn's comprehensive rural activities, including clay-pigeon-shooting and paint-balling.

Located between Rochford and Hockley, in an oasis of secluded calm, The Lawn is 10 minutes from Southend-on-Sea and just 25 minutes from the M25 (Junctions 29 or 30) or central Chelmsford. It is only 5 minutes from the increasingly popular London Southend Airport. The Lawn has its own helipad and ample, free adjacent parking.
